FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747-400 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address a potential fire hazard on certain Boeing 747-400, -400D, and -400F series airplanes, which were assembled with seals made of a material that deteriorates with age.
