NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Exempted Fishing Permit in Gulf of Maine

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has given preliminary approval for an Exempted Fishing Permit application to allow a single commercial fishing vessel to participate in exploratory fishing in the Gulf of Maine, targeting haddock with 6-inch mesh gillnet gear.
