Rolls-Royce Revises Airworthiness Directive for RB211-524 Series Turbofan Engines

Rolls-Royce is revising an earlier proposed airworthiness directive for certain RB211-524 series turbofan engines to clarify the applicability of the rule and prevent deterioration of the engine combustion liner, which can lead to engine failure and damage.
