DHS Adopts 2021 Inflation Adjustment to Civil Monetary Penalties

The Department of Homeland Security has finalized a rule adjusting its civil monetary penalties for inflation, effective for penalties assessed after October 18, 2021, following the signing of the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015 into law on November 2, 2015.
