Coastwise Endorsement Eligibility Determination for a Foreign-Built Vessel: AURORA (Motor); Invitation for Public Comments

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to determine the eligibility of a foreign-built vessel, the AURORA (Motor), to carry passengers for hire in the U.S. The vessel, which can carry up to 12 passengers, will be subject to a coastwise endorsement eligibility determination, and MARAD wants to hear from interested parties on how this may impact U.S. vessel builders and businesses.
