Coastwise Endorsement Eligibility Determination for a Foreign-Built Vessel: IDLEWILD CLIMB II (Motor); Invitation for Public Comments

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to determine the eligibility of a foreign-built vessel, IDLEWILD CLIMB II, to carry passengers for hire in the U.S. The vessel, which can accommodate up to 12 passengers, will be subject to a coastwise endorsement eligibility determination, and MARAD wants to hear from U.S. vessel builders and businesses that use U.S.-flag vessels about any potential impact.
