FAA Proposes Amendment of Class E Airspace and Revocation of Class E Airspace at Easton, MD
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to modify Class E surface airspace and airspace 700 feet above the surface, and remove Class E airspace designated as an extension to Class D airspace at Easton, MD, to enhance safety and airspace management for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at Easton Airport/Newnam Field. The proposed changes are in response to the decommissioning of the Easton Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) and the development of new Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs).
