TRICARE Expands Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Services

The US Department of Defense has launched a 5-year demonstration to cover services of certified labor doulas, lactation consultants, and lactation counselors, starting January 1, 2022, for eligible TRICARE beneficiaries in the US and District of Columbia, with overseas locations to be covered starting January 1, 2025.
