NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Exempted Fishing Permit Application

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Greater Atlantic Region, NMFS, has given preliminary approval to an Exempted Fishing Permit application, allowing commercial vessels to fish outside of regulations in support of research, pending further review and public comment.
