Dow Chemical Seeks Exemption for Pesticide Ingredient

The Dow Chemical Company has submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for a specific pesticide ingredient, allowing it to be used in formulations without establishing a maximum permissible level for residues on food or feed commodities.
