The US Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a settlement with W.R. Grace & Co. Conn to cover costs associated with cleaning up the Horton Iron and Metal Superfund Site in Wilmington, North Carolina, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).
