EPA Proposes New Rules for Chemical Substances

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing significant new use rules (SNURs) for chemical substances that require manufacturers and processors to notify the agency at least 90 days before using them for a new activity, in order to ensure safe handling and minimize environmental risks.
