FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A10 and BD-500-1A11 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A10 and BD-500-1A11 airplanes, following a report of cracking in certain components near the tie-rod attachment, which may have resulted from excessive tie-rod preload.
