EPA Proposes Approval of Pennsylvania's Fuel Oil Sulfur Content Revision

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a state implementation plan revision submitted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which reduces the maximum allowable sulfur content limit for Number 2 and lighter commercial fuel oil from 500 ppm to 15 ppm, in an effort to improve air quality in Allegheny County.
