DOT Proposes New System of Records for Emergency Contact Information

The Department of Transportation's Office of the Secretary of Transportation proposes to create a new system of records under the Privacy Act of 1974 to cover emergency contact information not already covered by the Office of Personnel Management's System of Records Notice. This new system, called the Emergency Contact Records system, will provide a centralized approach to managing emergency contact records across the department.
