SEC Proposes Rule to Increase Transparency in Securities Lending Market

The Securities and Exchange Commission is proposing a rule to require greater transparency and efficiency in the securities lending market, which would involve reporting material terms of securities lending transactions and information about securities on loan and available to loan to registered national securities associations.
