DHS Proposes Changes to Student and Exchange Visitor Information System

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is proposing to modify and reissue the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to update the name, categories of individuals and records, and routine uses, in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974.
