NYSE to Review Proposed Rule Change Allowing Acquisition Companies to Distribute Trust Account Funds to Shareholders

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has initiated proceedings to determine whether to approve or disapprove a proposed rule change that would permit acquisition companies to transfer a portion of their trust accounts to a new acquisition company and subsequently spin off the new company to shareholders.
