FAA Accepts Means of Compliance for Small Unmanned Aircraft Operations Over People

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has accepted the Virginia Tech Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (VT MAAP) MOC Version 1.0 as an acceptable means of demonstrating compliance with Category 2 and Category 3 small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) operations over people, following the rule issued on January 21, 2021, and going into effect on April 21, 2021.
