FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Model 234 and Model CH-47D Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address mechanical failures of the longitudinal cyclic trim actuator (LCTA) in various Model 234 and Model CH-47D helicopters, requiring maintenance and overhaul of the LCTA and reporting certain information to the FAA.
