FAA Proposes to Update Rolls-Royce Engine Airworthiness Directive

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to supersede an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG (RRD) Trent 1000-AE3, Trent 1000-CE3, and other model turbofan engines, requiring initial and repetitive inspections and potential replacement of the intermediate-pressure compressor (IPC) shaft assembly.
