NRC Grants Exemption to Arizona Public Service Company for Palo Verde Nuclear Plant Modifications

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is granting Arizona Public Service Company an exemption to remove the diverse auxiliary feedwater actuation system at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, following a request submitted on January 14, 2022, and supplemented by a letter on February 22, 2022.
