U.S. NRC Issues Confirmatory Order Modifying License of National Institute of Standards and Technology, Center for Neutron Research

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a Confirmatory Order to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Center for Neutron Research, following a successful mediation session, as a result of which the center agreed to modify its license following a settlement agreement related to safety limit violations during an event involving fuel cladding temperature exceedance.
