U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Addresses Comments on New Regulatory Guide for Non-Light Water Reactor Risk-Informed Activities

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has responded to public comments on the trial use of its new regulatory guide (RG) 1.247, which addresses the acceptability of probabilistic risk assessment results for non-light water reactor risk-informed activities, and has decided not to make any changes to the guide as a result of the comments.
