Hitachi Cable America Inc. and Harley-Davidson Motor Company Seek NHTSA Decision on Noncompliance with Brake Hose Standard

Hitachi Cable America Inc., now known as Proterial Cable America, Inc., and Harley-Davidson Motor Company have submitted supplemental petitions to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding noncompliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 106, Brake Hoses, related to certain model year 2008-2022 Harley-Davidson motorcycles and replacement parts.
