DOD, GSA, and NASA Propose Amendment to FAR to Combat Human Trafficking in Air Transportation

The Department of Defense (DOD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement a provision from the Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act of 2018, which mandates that domestic airlines contracted by the federal government to provide air transportation must submit an annual report detailing their efforts to prevent human trafficking.
