USPTO Updates Manual of Patent Examining Procedure

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has released a revised version of the Ninth Edition of the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP), effective January 2024, to improve access to essential guidance for patent examiners and the public, and to ensure the issuance of robust and reliable patents that promote innovation.
