FHFA Adopts Final Rule on Private Transfer Fee Covenants for Loans Meeting Duty to Serve Requirements

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has finalized a rule allowing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banks to purchase mortgages with private transfer fee covenants if they meet the requirements of the Duty to Serve Underserved Markets Regulation, without income limits.
