FDA Terminates Board of Tea Experts, Updates Advisory Committee Act Citation

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is terminating the Board of Tea Experts, a standing advisory committee, due to the Federal Tea Tasters Repeal Act of 1996. The FDA is also updating the statutory citation to the Federal Advisory Committee Act to reflect recodification, aligning with Congress's efforts to modernize the law.
