FDA Releases Draft and Final Guidance for Sprout Industry

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published two guidance documents to help sprout operations comply with the Produce Safety Rule, covering topics such as personnel qualifications, equipment, and sampling of spent irrigation water. The draft guidance is available for public comment, while the final guidance is now available for implementation.
