FDA Proposes Classification of Certain Wound Dressings and Liquid Wound Washes

The FDA is proposing to reclassify certain types of wound dressings and liquid wound washes containing antimicrobials and/or other chemicals, including those with high levels of antimicrobial resistance, into new categories with varying levels of regulation.
