FDA Approves Calcium Formate as Animal Feed Additive

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the use of calcium formate in animal feed and drinking water, with a maximum limit of 1.2% in complete swine and poultry feeds, in response to a petition from chemical company LANXESS Corp.
