USDA Proposes Amendments to National Organic Program

The USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service proposes changes to the National Organic Program to add low-acyl gellan gum and paper-based crop planting aids to the list of allowed substances, and correct a spelling error, in line with NOSB recommendations submitted to the Secretary of Agriculture.
