Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Transit Improvements

The Federal Transit Administration and the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority plan to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed extension of the Metro Gold Line light rail transit line from Azusa to Montclair, with stops in Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Claremont, and Montclair, in an effort to enhance regional transit and improve mobility in eastern Los Angeles County and western San Bernardino County.
