Boeing Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for 747 Airplanes
The Boeing Company has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for its Model 747 airplanes, requiring repetitive inspections for cracking in various areas of the aircraft, including the nose wheel well, and related corrective actions. The directive aims to address reports of cracking in the fuselage skin and internal skin splice plate at the nose wheel well aft corners.
