Notice of Receipt of Petition for Decision That Nonconforming 1991 Rice Beaufort Double Trailers Are Eligible for Importation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition requesting that 1991 Rice Beaufort Double trailers, which do not meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, be allowed to be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to vehicles originally certified for US sale and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
