FSIS Revises Accreditation Regulations for Non-Federal Analytical Testing Laboratories

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is updating its regulations for the Accredited Laboratory Program (ALP) to expand the scope of accreditations and improve laboratory performance evaluation methods, including the analysis of microbiological indicator organisms and pathogen testing.
