FAA Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for Piper Aircraft Models
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to update an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Piper Aircraft, Inc. models to address improper engine operation caused by calibrated temperature indicators or defective probes. The proposed update would apply to models PA-46-310P, PA-46-350P, and PA-46R-350T, and would require calibration, replacement, or insertion of new service information to prevent engine damage and loss of control.
