FAA Proposes to Update Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Helicopters MBB-BK 117 D-2 Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to update Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2017-07-08 for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH's MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters, requiring the replacement of elastomeric engine mount bushings with improved metal bushings and prohibiting the installation of elastomeric bushings on any helicopter.
