EPA Corrects CAFE Regulations for Flex-Fuel Vehicles

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a direct final rule to correct an error in its 2012 regulations for the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) program, clarifying the accounting method for flex-fuel vehicles in model years 2020 and later, allowing the program to be implemented as originally intended.
