CMS Issues Interim Final Rule to Strengthen COVID-19 Reporting and Testing Requirements for LTC Facilities

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released an interim final rule with comment period to enhance its ability to enforce compliance with COVID-19 reporting and testing requirements for long-term care (LTC) facilities, hospitals, and critical access hospitals, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
