NMFS Approves Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Lobster and Jonah Crab Monitoring Study

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has made a preliminary determination that an Exempted Fishing Permit application, submitted by the Commercial Fisheries Research Foundation, contains all required information and warrants further consideration, allowing eight commercial lobster vessels to participate in a lobster and Jonah crab monitoring study in the South Fork wind farm lease area.
