EPA Exempts 1-Octanamine from Tolerance Requirement

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of 1-octanamine, a surfactant used in pesticide formulations, allowing it to be applied to crops and raw agricultural commodities at a concentration of up to 15% by weight, following a petition submitted by The Spring Trading Company on behalf of Oxiteno USA, LLC.
