U.S. Withdraws Proposed Rule for Sugar Re-Export Program

The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) has withdrawn a proposed rule to implement a U.S. trade program allowing the importation of raw cane sugar for the production of polyhydric alcohols, with certain restrictions. The program was set to revise a current regulation related to sugar imports.
