FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Bell Textron Inc. Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Bell Textron Inc. helicopters, specifically the Model 204B, 205A-1, and 212, due to corrosion issues on main rotor hub tension-torsion strap assemblies. The directive aims to address the safety concerns by reducing the life limit of affected parts and prohibiting their installation on these aircraft.
