NMFS Prohibits Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher/processors using pot gear in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area to prevent exceeding the 2020 total allowable catch (TAC) allocated to this fishery.
