U.S. Copyright Office Issues Notice on Proposed Rulemaking for Musical Works Database and Licensing

The U.S. Copyright Office is proposing regulations for a new public musical works database and blanket licensing regime under the Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act, with a goal of increasing transparency and usability for digital music providers.
