FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Yaborã Indústria Aeronáutica S.A. Model Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Yaborã Indústria Aeronáutica S.A. Model ERJ 170 and ERJ 190-100 STD, -100 LR, -100 ECJ, -100 IGW, -200 STD, -200 LR, and -200 IGW airplanes to address an unsafe condition caused by installation of inverted poles on the horizontal stabilizer pitch trim switches.
