Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Grants Limited Exemption to Robert Bosch and Mekra Lang for Commercial Vehicle Digital Mirror System

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted a 5-year exemption to Robert Bosch, LLC and Mekra Lang North America, LLC to allow motor carriers to operate CMVs with Bosch's CV Digital Mirror System, an alternative to the required two rear-vision mirrors, in order to achieve a level of safety equivalent to or greater than the FMCSRs.
