NMFS Temporarily Increases Commercial Trip Limit for South Atlantic Vermilion Snapper and Recreational Bag Limit for Atlantic King Mackerel

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a temporary rule to boost the commercial fishing limit for vermilion snapper in the South Atlantic region and the recreational fishing limit for Atlantic king mackerel in the Atlantic Ocean, in response to significant economic losses and disruptions in the fishing industry caused by recent events, including harbor closures and declines in seafood demand.
